Interactive map aids polypropylene recycling efforts

Berry Plastics Group and Moore Recycling have given consumers a new tool to aid polypropylene recycling – an interactive map of collection locations in the U.S.

“As one of the largest manufacturers of polypropylene, or No. 5, plastic packaging in the United States, Berry Plastics is committed to exploring and implementing methods to increase the awareness of the recyclability of No. 5 plastics,” said Berry CEO Jon Rich.

Polypropylene is a durable, heat-resistant plastic used to make everything from bottles to drink cups, yogurt cups, bottle closures, Rubbermaid containers and automotive parts.

The site is at RecycleMorePlastic.org
