Ryan is a competitive paddler on K1 canoes, and was inspired to help the issues of plastic pollution when he saw trash in the water where he trains. He created a usable kayak made from hundreds of plastic bottles which he collected at his school to help educate people about plastic and trash, and that it also can have a value being re-used, not just thrown away.

Dopper is a re-usable water bottle, which hopes to help change consumer behavior away from single-use plastic water bottles. They give a percentage of their revenue to help bring clean water through wells to those in need in Nepal. This also helps keep single use plastic bottles out of the rivers and waterways in Nepal, which becomes a problem when there is no localized recycling capacity.
